This retrospective single-center study aimed to research the risk factors for delirium in clients with COVID-19 infection receiving therapy in an intensive attention unit (ICU). A total of 111 patients elderly >18 years with COVID-19 pneumonia which needed oxygen treatment from February 2021 to April 2022 were included. Data on client demographics, previous health background, disease extent, delirium, and therapy strategies during hospitalization had been obtained from electronic wellness files. Patient characteristics and exposure elements for delirium had been Lab Automation examined. Old-age (P less then 0.001), hypertension (P less then 0.001), disease severity (Sequential Organ Failure Assessment score) (P less then 0.001), mechanical ventilator assistance (P less then 0.001), neuromuscular blocker usage (P less then 0.001), and duration of stay static in the ICU (P less then 0.001) revealed statistically considerable differences in the univariable analysis.
